This Exscence perfume fair was marked by Italians who unpretentiously create very good stuff, year by year. Like Luca Turin said, this was the year of Italians. One of Those is the new-old brand. Italian house from Parma, NuBe became One of Those. Perfumes that were inspired by the Periodic Table of Elements became the story of universal traces of cosmic memory. This is important transformation for the brand. 

One of Those has quite beautiful portfolio. The heritage is good, the basics are also good and there is no reason that the new releases under the new cap are not good. Curium, the element of Marie Curie, is my favorite perfume of the line. It seems like they exploited their full potential with burst of creativity.

Curium is one of the most important elements discovered in modern history and perfumer Evelyn Boulanger worked on it: "I was inspired by a brilliant mind, strongly accurate yet vivid, joyful and imaginative... I tried to capture Marie Curie's unique personality. A creation which could be an enveloping force, a concentrate of emotions, able to push the boundaries of conventional thought."

 The perfume itself smells light, but complex at the same time. There is big trend of iris currently and this one is soft, powdery, light. Inside, in the heart is tobacco and sweet touch of red berry. It is a perfect play of contrasts. Above all, small touch of tonka bean with soft vetiver playing behind. Luminous, creamy, soft, sweet and woody composition that is smelling like warm skin and the luminous box with cigars. Beautiful olfactory image.
