A perfume cold as the heart of your ex love. It's one beer commercial that reminded me of this motto, but that can rightfully be the motto of Onyx Pearl too. I am a big fan of cold, icy scents because they remind me of elegance. This is Onyx Pearl to me, a cold, elegant, aristocratic scent. 

It's not a secret that I am crazy fan of fougère perfumes. Although Oud is enlisted as one of the main ingredients, it doesn't play a major role in this orchestra. It's more Italian alike because in the opening you can smell a smooth leather. It's not leather in a classic way you're used to, but more, a smooth, refined, beige suede leather. Imagine beautiful pair of beige suede shoes, that's the type of leather you can find inside.

It has seductive and opulent heart. Like a flirtatious lady - not too sweet, but not too cold either. It's also not Parisian because Parisians are too tricky, it's more Italian style of seduction.

Onyx Pearl by Agonist

Charming heart is sweet because heliotrope and Indian amber. That makes it sweet, but not intoxicating sweet. Coldness is coming from the white musk and Australian sandalwood. White musk gives a final touch to this charmer with the feeling of deep blue sky. 

Onyx pearl has a perfect feeling of fougère pyramid and I like it a lot personally. It smells like a perfect Italian barbershop in which the Master barber knows what you want even before you enter his shop. It's a classy perfume like a good twill jacket.
