Histoires de Parfums Parisian Gallery

Place for pop art & good perfumes

My Parisian tour ended with a visit to the store of Histoires de Parfums. I was looking very forward to that visit because I really love the brand, I can perfectly imagine each of their story and also, I was happy to meet Mr. Eric, their manager who does a good job. When I entered, I was stunned, because that's not a boutique, that's a gallery!

Marais and 3rd Arrondisement of Paris are known to be artist area. It's a melting-pot of cultures, artists and "pop" people. In one coin, in the small street of Roi Doré, you can find the gallery Histoires de Parfums. When I received the emails, Mr. Eric always referred to the boutique as gallery and not "boutique". When I entered, I realized why - because you can find art installations and perfumes, not just perfumes. It's the team of the brand that does it and Mr. Ghislain is personally involved in every process. For example, the stones that are beneath the wooden table were ordered, they came by truck and they manually put them to look like it looks now! That's why this is a gallery.

Installation with perfume packaging

The ambient inside of the store is very beautiful and you are able to find every possible creation made by Histoires de Parfums. I strongly recommend you to visit this gallery because you will be guided by professional team and also, find a suitable scent for yourself. The line is pretty wide and includes interesting perfume pyramids that you might like. I found couple of favorites.

Not A Blue Bottle

When I was a kid, I loved to watch cartoons and fantasy movies. One of the most favorite books and cartoons was inspired by Jules Verne. That story always encouraged my imagination. I didn't know the perfume inspired by Jules Verne exists and I was amazed when I saw it.

It's a beautiful green, watery fougère that is very light, woody and with a soft touch. For those who are into Creed Aventus, Armani Acqua di Gio or Green Irish Tweed, this is the scent that you might easily love! Very comfortable perfume.

Beautiful packaging

Since I am a big fougère lover, after thinking very hard, my favorite is 1725 inspired by Casanova. Unlike Jules Verne, it ends up sweet, intoxicating and opulent. Refreshing herbal notes turn into sweet woody composition. The sillage lingers in the air and it's very pleasant, seductive. It's my favorite at the moment!

I smelled for the first Edition Rares from the brand. The latest creation is called Fidelis and it is absolutely gorgeous amber, sweet, opulent scent with golden traces. It's very deep, intoxicating and opulent. This one is the favorite of Mr. Eric. Finally, I also smelled Veni, Vidi, Vici collection which is nice and I like it a lot since it is based on cardamon and tonka bean.

Visiting this store was a nice experience. I hope that I will come back to Paris soon so I could go there again, explore this smelly wonders that I felt in love with.
