Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540

Velvet curtains open and the show begins

Baccarat Rouge, Francis Kurkdjian by BL'eauOG

Yes, it's true that perfumes are the best memory triggers that you can imagine. I am stunned how Baccarat Rouge affects me and how many emotions do I get from. I think that Francis Kurkdjian himself heard many times how scents are affecting people emotionally and that gives him drive. Baccarat affects me like few perfumes do. I am just like - keep it going, keep it spritzing!
Baccarat Rouge 540 is the latest release by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. He is one of my favorite perfumers of all time because there is some special touch he has. It's also inside of this beauty that makes skin velvety, luxurious, exorbitant.

Baccarat Rouge 540 bottle and the packaging

When I was living in Paris, I had one particularity - I used time with my friends to visit theaters as much as we could. It was my cultural progress because Paris is the center of the world for art. I was breathing deeply every moment of it, of being with my friends. We bought tickets for a ballet Lupita, for Opéra Garnier and that was my first time. I dressed up nicely, with a bow-tie and nice tuxedo and I was over-excited. I entered and admired the chandeliers, the light, the marble stone and the staircase. Afterwards, I entered inside, where I smelt a beeswax for highly polished wood and gentle velvet chairs. I waited for the red velvet curtains open in the dark and I breathed deeply - I was smelling velvet, gentle leather, polished wood and excitement.

It's a gentle saffron with sweet and powdery hints mixed up with beautiful amber. Also, there is luxurious soft wood that gives me the golden feeling. Finally, ambroxan is there, in the amount of 10% that makes it stick to the skin.

Baccarat Rouge 540 is the smell of Opéra Garnier to me, of that moment, when I was sitting in a dark. Any self-respecting theater lover should consider to have this masterpiece in a collection.
